Running report Frohburg

 

To 28.09.2003 last running of the OACM took place in this year in Frohburg. It was a 1-Tages meeting on Sunday, so that on this day free training, the advances, as well as the final were driven. This meant all day long highest concentration and condition.

The distance in Frohburg has some very fast distance sections, where I had bad problems in acceleration from the curves with the jeep, since I start as only drivers with automatic transmission. My chance lay then rather in the curves, where down and very late brake I must switch the other drivers only.

I went on this running weekend with 16 points projection/lead as the third in the championship before the fourth-placed to the start . In the advances I drove both marks on the fifth position by the goal and in the final created I the fourth place. More was on this weekend does not rauszuholen, although I had given myself the largest trouble and also up to the conclusion had fought. After summing the points up in the respective runs, we placed pleased firmly, which had handed it nevertheless still to the third place in the total valuation.

Thus I came in my first season as an auto-CROSS driver in this year on the third place, about what I am pleased naturally much and am also very proud.

I would like to thank you at my team, which to me the whole year put a safe and always well prepared vehicle at the disposal. Not in only one run I failed due to possibly a technical or a driving error and this was possible only with professional preparation.

 

Running reports Ortrand and Sluknov

On weekend of 30.-31-August 2003 took place the fourth auto-CROSS running of the OACM of this season in Ortrand.

In my class, all wheeled vehicles over 1800 ccm, I had me before-fought in the 3 running meetings Dauban, local edge and gate gau preceding on the third place in the championship with however only one point projection/lead on the fourth-placed.

On Saturday very beautiful weather was Die distance in local edge is very short and winding. The ideal line is very hilly and wavy and if one gets off this, terribly much high loose soil is and with the weight jeep of the Cherokee very unfavorably and difficult to drive. The first free training run on Saturday mornings ran satisfyingly. The vehicle was well on the distance. The first advance on Saturday afternoon, was for me not satisfyingly, there the distance terribly driven out and very with difficulty to drive was.

On Sunday morning the second advance did not run likewise so well.

In the afternoon, before the final run, it began to rain powerfully. The distance was completely wet and properly pampig. The jeep drove itself under these conditions super and I reached end the conclusion the 4.Platz.

Since there are always points in the total valuation for the advances and I had not so successfully completed these on, I slipped after the weekend in local edge of my third on the fourth place in the all wheel class.

Next running found at the 13.-14.September 2003 in Sluknov/CZ

instead of. From personal reasons I could be involved on Saturday not to the start and lost the points for the first two advances.

On Sunday mornings traveled I and could in warmly the UP test, as the distance was to be driven. The engine CROSS distance in Sluknov is quite long and very fast. It has some spectacular steep curves and can to super be driven. In the advance on Sunday morning I reserved the fourth seat

and in the final in the afternoon I created it even on the third place.

The first time in this season I on the landing and my team and I stood were pleased enormous.

Since my contractor, who was to no more on the third place in the total valuation before me, could not on Saturday with its vehicle of problems had and because of Sunday start, am I now again on the third place in the total valuation forward come.

The decision over the total final placement in the all wheel class, falls on Sunday, that 26,09,03 in glad castle, where last running of the OACM takes place in this season.

 

Running report Torgau 19. - 20 July 2003


On weekend of 18.07. to 20,07,2003 we had a meeting in the context of the OACM? East German Autocrossmasters in Torgau. After a free training on the partial slippery and partly fast distance Nadja could the correct performance for running find, around the 2. To defend place in the total valuation.

Nadja reserved the seats 2 and 4 in the advances. Meanwhile placed itself out that our improvement of the Bumpstops only at short notice success had and these by those hard impacts of the front axle badly in were drawn. We had to improvise, in order to be able to participate in the final.

In the final run it seemed to run from the outset excellently. We knew the starting weakness, which brings the mechanism at the start with itself suppresses. In a furiosen fight Nadja could overhaul 2 point drivers in the AUDI and Lancia in a course and on the 3. Place move forward. Then however it had in front right a tire damage. Thus also the engine overheated somewhat and it came to misfires. At the end of the final it reserved seat 4.

In the total valuation Nadja is appropriate for 3 now on that. Place with one point arrears on Zweitplatzierten and one point projection/lead on the fourth-placed.

 

Running report Dauban

Also the Cherokee of 4.0, driven from my Mrs. Nadja shoemakers assigned under East Racing had to exist his acid test after only a short test in April.

With the auto-CROSS of the East German Autocrossmasters in Dauban of 26. - 27 146 vehicles went to April 2003 to the start. To very much adjusting and tuning work Nadja went from the last starting point in running the all wheel class and terminated it also in such a way. When second running started you again in the back from place 9 and came into the goal at place 7. In third running it reached place 3 and in the fourth place 4. There Nadja losses did not have stood it in the OACM - total valuation at the end on place 2.

The second OACM auto-CROSS meeting was from 31 May to 01 June 2003 in local edge. This very short and fastidious distance placed us, with finds out to correct set the Up?s, before new tasks. Thus for example we met the wrong tire choice with the training runs. Nevertheless Nadja, which came over running without losses, could well points, so that she kept place 2 in the total valuation at the end running.
