The 6th and last championship run of the OACM (www.OACM.de) took place on 25 and 26 September in Sluknov/CZ.
For this weekend I had planned to thus drive which I reach the third place in the yearly total valuation of the all wheel class again.
In very rainy weather we traveled on Friday evening in Sluknov. The racing course was muddy and slippery.
Saturday morning to the free training, we determined, which the jeep did not run correctly under achievement. He got irregularly gasoline and had misfires. Up to the first advance my team the pale tried to repair.
During the first advance I started from position 5. Already at the start noticed I, which the jeep did not go. It black smoke and had ignition misfires. I drove nevertheless the distance from end, in order to get at least points. My contractor, who failed drivers with the starting number 604, with which I was on the third place, in this advance and so had I at least 9 points lead driven out.
At the jeep we placed then the diagnosis, which a line adapter at the tank was broken and thus dirt arrived into the tank and which gasoline pump was defective. This error could not be repaired on the fast one.
To the second advance Saturday afternoon then again the same dilemma. I could drive only as the latter by the goal.
Briefly decided we loaded the jeep on late Saturday afternoon and drove to Bautzen, in order to change the gasoline pump. We built o'clock to approx. 23,00 and drove again back to Sluknov.
Sunday mornings to warmly the UP we were naturally strained whether our expenditure had been worthwhile itself. Already after the first meters noticed I, that the jeep well drove and I was motivated for the third advance and the all crucial final.
To the third advance I rolled then the driver field up from the rear. In the third round when overhauling the fourth-placed, this pulled suddenly to the left and thus came it to a collision our two vehicles. I could reserve seat 4, however in the following round with 10 seconds stop and Go punishment was punished, because race director no brake lights at my vehicle lighting up had seen and I would have had to brake after the Crash.
By this stop and Go punishment naturally all vehicles drove past again at me and I came back as the latter in the goal.
Naturally I was powerfully sour. After we had summed the points up, a difficult constellation resulted for the final run. I had to absolutely reserve the third seat and to leave the 604 behind me, in order to save to the entire third place.
With the final I started from the last row. Beside me my contractor with the starting number 604.
The start did not run rather so well, but after approximately 300 m the starting number 604 failed and stopped.
We drove on all. At start and a goal the red flag was swivelled, which meant that running had broken off.
We had to take again at start and a goal list and saw only there we, which the AUDI No. 604 burned. The vehicle was deleted and towed.
From this instant was clear, which I had the third place in the total valuation, since I had to actually only drive through, main thing into the goal to come so well surely. With the final run then also still vehicles failed with technical defects, partly due to driving errors and partly in such a way drove I as third by the goal.
The rejoicing of me and my team was naturally extra large.
I had 2004 the 3.Platz in the total valuation of the all wheel class after now 2003 also after one hard for the second time one behind the other contested year created.
To 06.11.2004 the yearly total winner honour on castle Schleinitz takes place at Meissen.
The 5. Championship run of the OACM( www.OACM.de) took place at beautiful late summer weather of 04.09.-05.09.04 in Lichtenberg.
The auto and engine CROSS racing course developed again, the Erzgebirgsring in Lichtenberg became for all drivers of the OACM the total challenge.
The whole course is a right course with many difficult passages and close curves. For us drivers perfectly again, since otherwise on all other racing courses always left around one drives.
With the free training of the all wheel class on Saturday morning the distance was then tested for the first time. The first left right curve after start terminated Volker Nilius on Subaru with a spectacular estimate in the last round at present the leading in the all wheel class.
This should not be on this weekend the only estimate in this curve passage, since nearly in each advance of the different classes a vehicle estimated itself there.
My team and I had made us for the weekend not to come more badly than on position 3 into the goal there I to that 4. Valuation run in glad castle in the total valuation on that 4. Place lay. Our goal is to be occupied it,in the total valuation to the year end place 3.
During the first advance I started from place 2, since we must draw lots our starting point before beginning of each meeting. I got along with the racing course and the many curves in the best way and drove at place 3 by the goal.
The second advance I had to take up then however by starting point 7, since we start there in transferred order, so no driver before or am disadvantaged. The distance was moisten before running, so that it was very wet and slippery. The start succeeded to me fantastic and I could from place 7 at place 2 into the first curve passage drive. By the wetness I had then however problems to hold the jeep on the distance. Nevertheless knew I mean pursuers behind me to leave and at place 3 by the goal drive again.
I reached Sunday morning, to the third advance the 4. Place. We had made some attitudes, which itself however of disadvantage proven and which had jeep misfire while driving.
For the final I had planned firmly to reach the third place. From the first row starting I had also all chances in addition. I could reach as second the first curve passage again and tried also this placement to hold. The first 4 rounds saw I mean pursuers still close behind me, but from round to round the lead became more largely and in such a way drove I than second by the goal.
Naturally I looked forward enormous just to this very fastidious racing course a so good placement to have reached.
In two weeks, to 25.09-26.09.04 the last run of this season in Sluknov/CZ finds instead of and decides there the championship.
At present I lie with a driver together on the third place in the total valuation.
The 4. Championship run of the OACM(www.OACM.de) took place of 31.07.-01.08.04 in Frohburg.
With 98 starters mentioned in the different classes, it promised to become again an interesting running weekend.
By the tropical temperatures of approx. 33 °C on Saturday the racing course was naturally very drying, hard and therefore also condemned fast, which not necessarily for the jeep of advantage was.
In the first free training Saturday mornings, I determined, which I had to out-provoke the jeep up to the absolute limit, in order to at all possibly have CHANGES.
In Frohburg the long start -und a goal straight line with an easy rise is approx 350m long. There I drove approx. 130-140 Kmh, which in the auto-CROSS is already quite fast, since such speeds are not driven otherwise.
Altogether then 1. and 2 found on Saturday. Advance, as well as on Sunday of the 3. Advance and the final instead of.
In the first advance I could maintain the fourth position to approx 40 m before goal intakes, however in the last moment by a Lancia was overhauled.
On the long straight line was missing to the jeep simply the necessary power.
In 2. and 3. I knew advance after hard fights with 2 all wheel Golf in each case the 4. Seat reserve.
In the final Sunday afternoon, likewise with mad heat, I went from position 4 into running and could maintain this place also up to the end.
On the whole my team and I were content with the weekend. More was not to be gotten with the vehicle with this fast distance out.
In the total valuation I could do me of 6. on the 4. Place improve. My arrears to the third-placed amount to only noch6 points and I are naturally anxious to overhaul this driver.
Now we must improve the engine, which is at 140.000 km still in the original state.
At the 04.09.und 05,09,04 finds in Lichtenberg of the 5. Championship run of the OACM instead of and I hopes, which rain it there perhaps again.
With mud and wetness the chances with the jeep are by far better than with fast dry racing courses.
To
05.06.04 and 06.06.04 the OACM as well as the Ortrander club the third valuation
run of this season drove.
For
the running weekend 114 drivers had called and the driver camp were so full on
Friday evening, which only one passenger car more place did not have.
Saturday
mornings began free training and I drove the first time with a transmission in
my jeep, which to me my team had inserted, since I had no more changes with the
automatic transmission to ride along completely in front.
Naturally
I had to change myself over enormously, since I had to now constantly switch. In
local edge the racing course is very short, has many curves, a steep rise and a
steep departure, thus very fastidiously.
After
it had rained until Saturday approx. 14,00 o'clock at the piece, the distance
had driven out very slippery, muddily and in some places terribly.
During
the first advance I went from position 1 into the Rennen.(the initial positions
to the advances by lot am pulled)
The
gulf starting right from me drove to the start diagonally right after before me
and estimated themselves, so which I moved over it still another piece before me
and then behind it to a halt came and all vehicles past drove. I could still
overhaul and as the last but one into the goal drive a vehicle then. During the
second advance I had to start from the rear and did not get along not with the
distance and had also my problems with switching.
After
I had run off Saturday evening the distance and my team head explained to me
exactly, where I which curve concern must and at which number of revolutions is
switched, I took myself to hearts and wanted to make it better on Sunday.
Sunday
was radiating sunshine. The distance was drying and it was very many spectators
at the distance. I could reach place 5 in the 3.Advance and in the final place 5
and was content, since I was started both marks from the last starting row.
At
the same time to the OACM valuation runs the valuation runs took place to MC
cup. Those are cup runs, which the Ortrander club writes out. Took place also
there a time training, an advance, as well as a final. With the final run I
reached the second place and was
naturally very very lucky over it which we could take a cup with home.
The
jeep ran the weekend very well. Particularly when starting I had a mad advantage
with the transmission opposite the automatic transmission and I could well with
the other vehicles keep up.
On
20-June an invitation running takes place, where the OACM driver does not
receive points of valuation, but to ride along may in Lichtenberg at Freiberg.
It
is an in daily meeting. We can make ourselves there however with the distance

the 15.bis 16 May 2004 found a second running of the OACM - East German
auto-CROSS of masters, this season in
Frohburg with Leipzig instead of.
On Friday
afternoon was journey of the individual teams. Our running leader, Mr.
Stromhardt Kraft was very content, since for this running weekend 87 drivers had
called.
After
running off the distance we were drivers quite contently with the condition. In
relation to last year only some small changes had been made.
On Saturday
mornings were then driven the free trainings in the individual classes. With the
all wheel class 9 vehicles went to the start.
With
training I did not get along with the course completely well and a large
schlammloch of approx. 10 m length, present at the distance, caused me with the
jeep difficulties.
In the
afternoon then the first two valuation advances took place.
The racing
course possesses very long start and goal straight line, which go bergan and are
in the middle part still times a steep rise, where I had bad problems with the
jeep, since he is very heavy opposite the other vehicles and the mechanism does
not shift up so fast, as I would have it gladly. In the first advance I reserved
seat 5 and in the second advance had I after a round unfortunately to give up.
Strongly
begun and within shortest time the entire racing course had to rain pampig and
had become muddy. I started from the second row and got the entire windshield
with mud full-hurled. Thus the washing plant was clogged and I had no more view
and had to continue.
On Sunday
morning, after a night through-rained, I started from place 6 into the third
advance. The jeep had easy misfires in the third round and ran no longer
correctly. My mechanics tried to find the errors in the time up to the final.
To the final
I started from the third row and got a spectacular start past and could in the
first curve at two vehicles. Then to me however at the rises the achievement and
I were missing dropped back. It succeeded to overhaul me nevertheless still
times in a curve again two vehicles, which had more speed then however on the
long starting and goal straight lines and again on me by-pulled. I drove as a
last but one by the goal.
After this running weekend contently not placing, I dropped back in the total valuation to place 5 and we on changes on the jeep will naturally work, in order to be able and be competitive to score up to next running in the 05.und 06.06.04 in Ortrand again.
At the 24.und 25. April 2004 found a first running of the OACM - East German auto-CROSS of masters, this Saisonin Sluknov/CZ instead of.
Friday afternoon in wonderful sunshine the individual teams traveled. The team East Racing from Bautzen, otherwise also with a Le Mans sports car in the employment, inserted here with Fahrerin Nadja shoemaker, off a Road jeep Cherokee into the all wheels class, thus Nadja.
After running off the racing course, we determined, which the Czech organizers had done in relation to last year to very much at the improvement of the auto-CROSS distance. The entire course was very broadly and well prepared.
At the night from Friday to Saturday it began to rain and stopped up to few interruptions until Sunday noon also not more. The soil of the racing course, a mixture from mud, loam and tone became correctly slippery and sticky.
In the first two free training runs I tested the distance and got along relatively well. Saturday afternoon were then the two first valuation advances, where I with first 5. and with second the 3. Place occupied. Sunday mornings two curves had become nearly impassable after a further rainy night and all had to rank powerfully, in order not to remain being in the Morast and come well around the course.
In the third valuation run I supplied with a hard duel with a gulf and it came myself several marks to somewhat rougher contacts between us both. Up to the last round I could hold it nevertheless distance behind me, but then I paid duty in a muddy curve and he could at me past and I drove myself as the fourth in the goal.
To the final I went from initial position 4 into running. The start did not run completely in such a way, as I had presented it to me and I was still another place to the rear please. With necessary rage in the belly I tried naturally again to the field ranzukommen. I drove with somewhat too much speed into the muddy hairpin curve and remained in a large mountain mud putting, since it jeep when giving in completely rausgetragen had. I inserted the reverse gear and came surprising way without problems again raus and resumed running. The same Malheur passed two rounds later again in the same place.
End the conclusion I reserved the fourth seat and was still completely content, because also different drivers had so their problems with the distance and could a running not up to end drive.
