Running Report Lichtenberg /Erzgebirgsring

The last valuation run in the season OACM 2005 took place from 03.-04 September in Lichtenberg/Erzgebirgsring.
In marvelous sunshine we traveled Friday noon to Bautzen starting from and toward Erzgebirge became the sky ever more darkly. We feared already again the worst for the weekend, since all remembered still the muddy running weekend from glad castle, rained. But Petri did not have a pitying and it gave rains, but but nebulas.
Friday evening went off we the distance and determined to our large astonishment, which had done some, in relation to June. Like that the mountain on passage 100 m was asphalted after the second curve.
To the free training Saturday morning I determined, which had become enormously fast by the change work the racing course and all vehicles were nearly 10 seconds faster per round on the way than in June.
Our running leader and the distance posts had however bad problems with the visibilities, since it was terribly foggy and it already thought, it would have the advances off in the afternoon to call. But against noon the weather became better and we could punctually our advances begin. I had drawn the ticket number 4 and the meant from the second row to start.
During the advance I hung the whole time behind the gulf of Rene Feller and could not also overhaul, since I did not have enough achievement. My mechanics had heard a rattling noise at my jeep during the run. After the advance we examined the Cherokee and determined, that the catalyst were defective and repaired the damage.
During the second advance I started from position 3 from the first row. The start succeeded to me perfectly and I could as the first before the driver field set itself and up to the end did not deliver I also the guidance. We were much content and looked forward to the third advance and the final on Sunday.
Saturday evening for second driver discussion, had the driver Rene Muennich of the Allwheels the idea to drive on Sunday to the final runs still another superfinal around the spectators still another additional Show to offer. The suggestion was taken up by nearly all drivers with enthusiasm. The superfinal should thus go of. The winner of the individual classes, of the Trabants, over the Freestyler up to the all wheel class should start together one behind the other driving.
The third advance Sunday morning ran for me again outstanding and it succeeded to me a starting a goal victory. Likewise also the final ran and also there could I win. Afterwards it went directly to the starting list for the superfinal.
As the first the Trabant stood one behind the other, thereafter 7 further vehicles in row and at the end I with my jeep. An introduction round was driven and to it took place a flying start. Running went over 8 rounds and I was naturally anxious to overhaul as many vehicles as possible. This arranged itself already very with difficulty. After I had overhauled 3 vehicles I behind Dirk Karich of the Freestylern had arrived. This overhauling maneuver became very spectacular, by touching ourselves several times more or less roughly. In the next to last round I had still 3 vehicles before me and briefly before the goal intake could I still, which overhaul as the first started satellite and drove as the third over the target line. Afterwards three first drove still another lap of honour, where the drivers were recompenced by the applause of the spectators. Both the spectators and the running teams were the opinion, who were this superfinal most exciting running weekend.
End the conclusion there was then the winner honour and I took means cup with joys against. Much I found tingling, when the third-placed Rene Feller, which was somewhat faster when opening the sparkling wine bottle than I, let run me the whole liquid in the back into my running combination and I was totally wet, everywhere stuck and somewhat unpleasantly smelled.
But then Rene Muennich had to be able a due sparkling wine shower of me to be been issued as second more placed over itself.
All in all was a running weekend very much succeeded and lucky and contently began we then our home journey.
In this season I became in the all wheel class second behind Rene Feller and am pleased much. Now we must work to get in the next year the yearly total victory.

Running Report Frohburg

Our 4.Championship run of the OACM took place in glad castle at the 06.-07.August.
On Friday to the journey the weather looked still to some extent beautiful promiseful, whereby the weather forecast had announced for the entire weekend rain.
During the distance committing Friday evening was not offered drivers a good picture to us.
The Racetrack stood completely under water.
Saturday morning for the free training of all classes we went to the mud battle on the racing course.
But the experience of the last years showed, which after only few rounds the wetness and the mud disappeared and which distance ever better and faster more passable became.
I, for my conditions, could not weight me with the jeep. For such Mush and mud runways the vehicle is very well suitable.
On Saturday afternoon to the 1. I started advance as the first, since I had drawn the starting number 1 with the draw. It folded everything marvelously and I drove a start a goal victory.
The distance dried in the course of the daily in such a way, which even to the second advances in the late afternoon a water car had to be ordered.
During the second advance in transferred sequence to first, I started from the second row.
The start succeeded to me fantastic and before the first link curve was I parallel at the guidance vehicle of Rene Feller, since however neither of them gave small with, came it to the collision, and Rene turned before me, intercepted the gulf however well and could a running continue. Also I won this run.
On Sunday morning stood the distance after violent rainfalls in the night again completely under water. Also it had come in the night in the driver camp to palpable arguments, on which I do not want to die however more in greater detail (to reread under < A href="http://www.oacm.de/"> www.OACM.de Rennbericht Frohburg)
After a short driver discussion one specified, which all vehicles should on the distance to a training, in order to some extent to drive the racing course to drying.
Since however the next tempest approached, the meeting was broken off after the 3.Vorlauf of the Trbants and Freestyler.
At 13.00 o'clock took place the winner honour and it in each class only the driven runs was rated.
So I could take a winner cup in receipt and hope now all for somewhat more beautiful weather to our last valuation run in Lichtenberg/Erzgebirgsring at the 03.-04. September.

Running Report Lichtenberg / Erzgebirgsring

On weekend 18.06.-19.06.2005 found the 3. Valuation run of the OACM in Lichtenberg instead of.
In beautiful summer weather the teams on the Erzgebirgsring traveled. A outstanding racing course presented itself us.
I had the distance in mind from the last year still good, since I had very well by right come with the course.
On Saturday morning I used free training very intensively, by driving and testing 5 times gentleman out. After that was 2 hours of training past, the racing course was to be driven on by substantial bumps more with difficulty than to the beginning.
1. and 2. Advance took place Saturday afternoon. The all wheel class started together with the 2000 ccm class. With both runs to me a fantastic start and I succeeded could in guidance lying both runs win, whereby I slipped with the second run after the start in the first curve powerfully and with Rene Feller in the gulf a rather violent collision had. We could drive on a running nevertheless, whereby the gulf looked in front already powerfully carried forward and was broken me at the jeep the Track bar in front. My team colleague Rene Muennich had somewhat more pitch. In free training a shock absorber camp had broken gone to it, so which it could not participate in the first advance. It terminated the second advance as the fourth.
My team traveled Saturday evening again after Bautzen, in order to get a new Track bar, which was then built in the night still, so which I on Sunday mornings with a perfect vehicle to the start go could.
Saturday night gave it then for the drivers and mechanics a campfire and fireworks, where all let running Saturday end in cosy atmosphere.
The 3. Advance Sunday morning began likewise with a perfect start and I won. Likewise the final, where a start a goal victory succeeded to me.
This made me happy completely particularly, there it in my 3. Running season the first time was, which I the 1. Place occupied.
In the table guidance I advanced 5 at place 2 from place.

The running weekend had passed for us before approx. 2500 spectators very contently placing and we looks forward to exciting fights
on the next weekend in Torgau at the 09.und 10. July 2005

Running Report Frohburg

From 21.-22. May 2005 found the 2. Valuation run in Frohburg (between Chemnitz and Leipzig) instead of.
Beautiful summer weather expected us there, not as in the last year, when it rained from Friday to Sunday incessantly and the running weekend only one mud battle was.
After my spectacular takeoff in Sluknov the jeep had been dreadfully broken and we had the 3 weeks to Frohburg all hands fully to do, in order to arrange and make the jeep fully functional again.
With free training Saturday morning I tested and was very content. The car ran perfectly.
With the 1. I started advance from place 6 (starting points are always pulled by lot) from the third starting row. Before me my team colleague Rene Muennich with its AUDI stood. When starting Rene with enormous Speed shot into the first curve, overhauled all, was however much too fast and could not the AUDI in the curve no more intercept and placed themselves crosswise and it passed which to happen had. Volker Nilius with its Subaru did not meet the AUDI at the tail and also I could to any more evade and did not drive frontally in front into the right side of the AUDI. The AUDI failed and running under yellow flag was continued.
I terminated a running as a last but one.
This large impact had not gone past naturally without trace at my racing car. We had a Differenzial to harm and with 2. I determined advance also while driving, which did not function to that all wheel any longer and I could drive only with rear propulsion.
These damage was not reparable and so for us on the fast one had I on Sunday the 3. Advance and the final so well, wie's went bringing over the rounds. This arranged itself very with difficulty, since before our final run the distance was made wet and the jeep with rear propulsion was nearly unfahrbar. I profited nevertheless by the losses of my passengers and could still save the third place in the final.
But not enough of the many damage to this weekend. When our activator, handed Stromhardt Kraft to me over during the winner honour cup and sparkling wine, separated the sparkling wine corked my bottle and I met Stromhardt at distance of approx a meter fully over his left eye to brew, so which it could not make the winner honour any longer further. God is thanks nothing far bad had happened, only it had gotten a powerfully blue eye.
I hope, that can be done when next running on 18.-19. June 2005 into Lichtenberg everything smoothly over the stage.

Running report Sluknov/ CZ

The 1.Race of the season 2005/OACM took place to 30.04 and 01.05.05 in Sluknov/CZ.
In this year East Racing start for the first time 2 vehicles, once the jeep Cherokee V8 with driver Nadja Schuster and an AUDI S6 V8 combination with driver Rene Muennich for the team.

Over the winter season we built a V 8 engine into the Jeep and converted the AUDI completely again as CROSS vehicle.

In unexpectedly beautiful weather we arrived on Friday afternoon in Sluknov and admired the racing course outstanding prepared by the Czech sport friends.

On Saturday at very high summer temperatures took place then one free training, 3 advances as well as a final run. In training and the 2 first advances we were with the jeep not yet content and we had different changes and attitudes to make. During the third advance the jeep drove so gigantically, so which I left and won from the start to the field with ever more largely becoming distance behind me.
With the final run I drove being because of second place closely behind the only placed, until I was too fast in the third round on the start and goal straight lines somewhat, broke out me the vehicle and I drifted with the right rear wheel to an earth barrier raus, which had the effect, which broke the rear axle, which flew away right rear wheel and I estimated myself 3 time. There the whole with approx.. Speed 100 Kmh passed, was naturally substantial damage to the vehicle the result. The jeep had twisted at all corners and edges and distorted. The windowpanes were nearly complete gentleman out and we had to load and the jeep after Bautzen into the workshop to bring. Like a miracle nothing had happened to me as a driver, except a few bruises and haematoma.

So I had to be content on Sunday for the first time in my career as CROSS drivers with the spectator role.
Nothing the despite our second driver in the team with the AUDI struck itself as complete new A risers bravouroes. It drove in the first two advances on Sunday in each case as runner-up into the goal, had then however with the final large pitch, when in the second round the right front wheel burst to it and it continued to fight nevertheless to bitten and could the fourth place in the goal save.

So my team and I have now all hands fully to do to bring the jeep again drivingready and in order with it we in 2 weeks on 21 and 22 May 05 in Frohburg to 2. Valuation run of the OACM to the start to go know.
